A dining terrace and colour-rendered seating arbour installed in the west facing corner at the top of the sloping site. Generous steps of dark basalt stone add a crisp contemporary detail along with retaining walls rendered to blend with the house.
Two planting schemes reflect the different light levels and conditions on either side of the garden; bright colourful carpets amongst silver granite scree soften the dining terrace whilst a shade tolerant woodland palette adds volume beneath a group of trees to the west of the site.
